ITINERARY
DAY 01: VIENTIANE ON ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Wattay airport, our local guide will meet you and then transfer to the city for a city tour to Wat Ho Phra keo (the original home of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Sisaket (the house of thousands of Buddha statues ), Patuxay Victory (Vientiane Arc de Triomphe), That luang stupa (symbolizing the rich spiritual heritage of the country, where kept the relics of Buddha). Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 02: VIENTIANE – XIENG KHOUANG (B)
After breakfast early in the morning, visit the morning market, Museum of the Revolution. Then transfer to airport for flight to domestict Xiengkhuang. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Free time.

DAY 03: XIENG KHOUANG – PLAIN OF JARS – MUANG KHOUN (B)
After breakfast, visit the Plain of Jars well known as one of the most unusual sites in Asia, hundreds of stone jars weighing up to a ton scattered over a large area of green. The pots are thought to be over 2,000 years, but their origins are still a mystery. Continue to the old capital of Muang Khoun with a stop to visit the minority village along the way.

DAY 04: XIENG KHOUANG – LUANG PRABANG (B)
After breakfast, explore the local market before starting throughout many mountain roads to Ancient Capital – Luang prabang. Arrival Luang Prabang in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05: LUANG PRABANG – KUANGSI WATERFALLS (B)
After breakfast, start the day with a visit to Wat Xieng Thong – most beautiful temple in the city built in the 16th century. Poursuisons by visiting Wat Visoun, Melon stupa and Wat Aham. Then we drive about 30 miles south along the Mekong River to Kuangsi Waterfalls, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pool or walk along the forest trails. There is also the chance to walk to the nearby village of Ban Thapene, and explore the hidden waterfalls, which is rarely visited by other tourists. Take a short visit to the Bear Rescue Center, which houses a couple of dozen animals rescued from the hands of poachers and traffickers, they are doing a great job in protecting and rehabilitating the rare Asiatic Black Bear.
We then return to Luang Prabang center, visit the Royal Palace, then climb to the top of Mount Phou Si to catch the sunset on the way back, visit famous local arts and night market of crafts.
Free at leisure and overnight in Luang prabang.
DAY 06: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVES (B)
Wake up as the sun rises, we will prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving, which dates to the 14th century. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.
We then visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace where the local people barter their day’s catch from rice, to vegetable, to fish, or chicken, just set on the ground. Then return to your hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, we embark on a boat trip to the Pak Ou cave which is located 32 km upstream of the river and along the way stop to visit the village of whiskey and watch the villagers use to process to Lau Lao (rice wine) and continue the cave where more than one thousand Buddha images are retained.
On the way back to Luang Prabang, we will take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, set serenely close to the Mekong, this beautiful, traditionally styled workshop, where weavers, spinners and batik makers produce top-quality fabrics, offers free tours every half-hour. This is also one of the best spots to admire the sunset in Luang Prabang. Transfer back to your hotel late afternoon.

DAY 07: LUANG PRABANG – DEPARTURE (B)
Free time before transfer to airport for your international flight.
